100% pass result in CBSE Grade X 2020-21.

We announce that our school has got a 100% pass result in CBSE Grade X this year.
The school is delighted to share the top ten scorers of the year 2020-21. Congratulations to the rankers and also to each student of Zebar of the 2020-21 batch. You have demonstrated immense patience, perseverance and dedication during difficult times. The remarkable result is the product of the combined efforts of the teachers, parents and the school management.

Online Classes for Pre-primary Section.

Online classes for Pre-primary Section have begun in Zebar. The young children were elated to see their teachers and friends online. They interacted with their teachers, sang rhymes and shared details about how they were coping with the lock down. These interactive sessions would help the young students to cope up with the situation. It would also keep them connected with their peer group and their school activities. In addition to these online sessions, educators are regularly sharing engaging videos, worksheets and PowerPoint presentations for the students. This new move by the school management has been widely appreciated by the parents.

Virtual classes for classes 9 and 10

Zebar School makes a transition to virtual classes for classes 9 and 10. The decision was made by the management after the Nationwide lock down to ensure that the academic journey of the students continues seamlessly. Enthusiastic Educators of Zebar under the guidance of Principal Ms Sharmistha Sinha took up this task of connecting to their students via Zoom. Apart from the online sessions, Interactive videos, PowerPoint Presentations, online links and worksheets are shared with the students regularly. Teachers ensure that students remain fruitfully engaged in academics and complete their assignments.
Parents of Zebar School have welcomed this new move, and all the online classes have more than 90% attendance. Here are the glimpses of the new initiative by the school.

Sports Day – Std 7th, 9th and 10th

The much-awaited Annual Sports Day for classes 7, 9 and 10 was held yesterday. Mr Ajit Dave trustee of Zebar School graced the event.
Zebarites displayed a wide array of sports activities ranging from March Past, Yoga, Cricket Drill to Pyramid drill. Colourful drills like Lezim drill, dance drill and Ribbon drill captivated the attention of the audience. After the drills, it was time for races. Students and parents cheered for the young athletes. New talent was noticed, and the winners were given medals and certificates by our Academic Advisor Ms Radhika Iyer, Principal Ms Sharmistha Sinha and Grievance Redressal officer Ms Manju Malviya. Not only students but parents were also equally excited to be a part of this sporting event as they turned up in large numbers on a cold winter morning to witness the spectacular event. The event ended with the National Anthem

Sports Day of Primary Section

On a crisp Friday morning parents of class 1, 3 and 5 came to witness the Annual Sports Day of Primary section. The day began with the welcome speech, hoisting of school flag and March past. Mr Ajit Dave trustee of Zebar school graced the event. The day was exciting as sports is always given equal emphasis in Zebar. Our students displayed Pyramid, Yoga, Aerobics, Bamboo exercises and Saree drill exercises. The parents were thrilled to see young students performing with perfect coordination. There were a variety of races lined up for each grade. The day ended with the prize distribution ceremony, which was graced by Academic Advisor Ms Radhika Iyer, Principal Ms Sharmistha Sinha and Grievance Redressal Officer Ms Manju Malviya. Sports Day provided our students with a chance to display their sporting prowess as they learnt crucial lessons about competition.

Diya Decorating Activity

As the entire nation gears up for the festivities, toddlers of Zebar School too celebrated the festival with their friends and teachers in school with unique activities. Junior KG students took part in ‘Balancing Diya’ activity. They had a great time holding the diyas full of water and walking till the finish line. Senior KG students painted diyas in the school and decorated it. They also presented the hand-painted diyas to the heads of the school. Apart from this, students actively took part in Diwali storytelling sessions with their teachers. They wished everyone Happy Diwali and New Year as they left the campus to enjoy their Diwali break with their family.

Zebarites celebrated 73rd Independence Day.

The Primary Section held a special assembly for all the sections of 3,4 and 5.The students came in tricoloured costumes for the special day. It began with the prayer followed by an interesting and informative speech on India’s struggle for freedom. This speech highlighted the roles played by our National leaders, Mahatma Gandhi and Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. After the speech, students sang the National Song and Patriotic songs. Girls of the primary section also performed a well-choreographed dance performance. This assembly evoked feelings for our motherland amongst our students and love for our beloved country, India. Special assemblies help our students realize the innumerable sacrifices made by our freedom fighters. It also made them aware of our brave soldiers who are deployed on the borders of our country and are on round the clock vigil to keep us safe.
